Marketplaces in Europe - the consumer’s choice

Ian will draw upon RetailX’s ongoing research into Europe’s marketplaces with an overview of consumer behaviour. We’ll consider the fact that more than 50% of consumer traffic in Europe is directed to marketplace sites. As marketplaces continue to grow and to pioneer new forms of shopping, connection and service, what are the lessons for retailers and brands as their share of the consumer’s browsing time is squeezed. We’ll look in more detail at the difference between countries and how that might impact a cross-border approach, as well as drawing exemplars of best and innovative practice. We all know that marketplaces are dynamic, inventive and capable players in the consumer landscape, and Ian’s presentation will give you the facts and insights in support of this.
